Visitors from Kettering (UK), the Territotial Leaders and the Mission Leaders also witnessed the Easter Sunrise Service at Chikankata's Calvary Hill

Young ladies from Chikankata Higher Secondary School dance around in praise of the risen Lord

The three crosses at Chikankata's own Calvary Hill, as they appear in the early Easter dawn

People gather in front of the empty crosses as they are waiting for the Easter sunrise

Christ's Cross is empty, and indeed His Tomb is empty too!!

Young and old alike value the occasion

Colonels Geoff & Heather Blurton (R) from Kettering (UK) are the guest speakers. They minister with passion. The congregation are encouraged, inspired and motivated by their speech and action. Their love and affection for Zambia is manifested by their repeated visits to the territory since their first service in this territory as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women's Ministry

Marcus again! He loves anything that has wheel

Lunch break in between the meetings. A simple meal on a simple set of table and stool is all that is necessary

Meetings such as this is always a success as long as we are having enthusiastic and committed delegates like these ones

These women and children have to walk many miles to come, spend the three nights at the makeshift camp, and again walk back many miles home! Inspired and challenged, this time my whole family walk back and forth the 3 kilometres (6 kms in total) from home to the camp site. And it's worth it, physically and spiritually!!
